Update - May 28th, 2012
Chris Bosh's return to the Heat is still unknown after
being sidelined since straining a lower abdominal muscle in Game 1 of Miami's
series against Indiana in the second-round. Andre Drummond tops DA's Big Board
of Centers. The Heat got the 93-79 Game 1 victory against the Celtics. LeBron
had 32/13rbs (DD) and Wade had 22. KG dropped 23/10rbs (DD) for Boston. Sources
say Neil Oshley met with Blazers owner Paul Allen recently about Portland's GM
vacancy. Tim Duncan will become a free agent this season but stated "I'm
here a Spur for life." Andrea Bargnani has fully recovered from a strained
left calf injury that ended his season short with the Raptors. The Sixers are planning
to give a contract extension to Doug Collins.

The San Antonio Spurs remain undefeated this
post-season after taking the 101-98 Game 1 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ginobili had 26. Durant dropped 27/10rbs (DD). The Magic are set to interview
the Thunder's assistant general managers Troy Weaver and Rob Hennigan and the
Spurs' assistant general manager and team vice president Dennis Lindsey for
their GM vacancy. Chris Bosh participated in an an-court workout today but
remains listed as out indefinitely. LeBron James spoke on their matchup with
Boston:"I wouldn't have it no other way, personally[.] It's really the
only team I'm accustomed to playing in the playoffs. No matter where I go, I
find a way to play Boston. We've got a lot of history." Udonis Haslem
admitted that his flagrant foul that led to a one-game suspension on Tyler
Hansbrough was retaliation for his hard foul on Dwyane Wade.

The Celtics have advanced to the Eastern Conference
Finals to face the Heat after getting the huge 85-75 Game 7 against the Sixers.
Rajon Rondo lifted the Celtics with a big triple-double (18pts/10asts/10rbs)
and several big shots in the fourth quarter. Kevin Garnett had 18/13rbs (DD).
Iguodala had 18. Kyle Lowry stated that he feels he and coach Kevin McHale can
no longer coexist though McHale did not feel the same way: "Everybody has
a little beef every once in a while. I didn't feel like there were problems. He
apparently did." The Warriors are working on a trade with Utah to keep
their first round pick regardless of the lottery. Jerry Sloan was interviewed
by the Bobcats yesterday for their head coach vacancy but no word has been
spoken on a deal as of yet. If the Clippers decide to part ways with Vinny Del
Negro, Chris Paul has Mike Malone as his top candidate for replacements. Dwight
Howard denied that he had any involvement with the firing of Stan Van Gundy.
